RANCHASSIST™ CORRAL COST ESTIMATOR — TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: August 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the RanchAssist™ Corral Cost Estimator (the “Estimator”). By using the Estimator, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Estimator.
1. PURPOSE OF THE ESTIMATOR
The Estimator is a planning utility for organizing user-entered assumptions related to livestock corrals and working facilities, including pens, alleys, fence systems, gates, posts, concrete, working equipment, labor, equipment, delivery, tax, contingency, and projected project cost.
The Estimator is intended to support planning and comparison. It is not a substitute for site-specific professional judgment.
2. PLANNING ESTIMATES ONLY
All calculations, quantities, costs, diagrams, bills of materials, and other outputs are estimates based on the information and assumptions entered by the user and the current calculation logic of the Estimator.
Outputs are not bids, quotes, purchase orders, engineering documents, architectural plans, safety certifications, construction guarantees, livestock-handling certifications, legal advice, or warranties of final cost.
Actual conditions may differ because of, among other things:
- Site conditions.
- Soil and drainage.
- Existing structures and utilities.
- Structural loads.
- Livestock type and behavior.
- Fabrication methods.
- Contractor practices.
- Welding and installation methods.
- Material dimensions and availability.
- Waste and breakage.
- Labor productivity.
- Freight and delivery.
- Taxes and fees.
- Local codes, permits, rules, or regulations.
- Supplier pricing and market changes.
3. USER RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for:
- Entering accurate and appropriate project information.
- Reviewing units, quantities, dimensions, costs, and assumptions.
- Correcting double-counted shared boundaries or overlapping geometry where necessary.
- Replacing example costs with current values appropriate to your project.
- Verifying gate locations, post requirements, concrete assumptions, equipment selections, and labor assumptions.
- Reviewing the bill of materials and Calculation Details before relying on an estimate.
- Obtaining professional advice, supplier quotes, engineering, permits, inspections, or other approvals appropriate to the project.
4. NO PROFESSIONAL OR SAFETY CERTIFICATION
RanchAssist does not, through this Estimator, certify or guarantee:
- Structural adequacy.
- Welding design.
- Foundation or post design.
- Animal-flow performance.
- Operator or animal safety.
- Accessibility.
- Engineering compliance.
- Building-code compliance.
- Permit compliance.
- Environmental compliance.
- Legal suitability.
Use qualified contractors, fabricators, engineers, veterinarians, livestock-handling specialists, code officials, suppliers, and other professionals as appropriate.
5. EXAMPLE VALUES AND PRICING
Any included costs, dimensions, rates, yields, spacing values, or other defaults are editable planning examples unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The Estimator does not claim that its example material or labor values are current market prices. Working-equipment default purchase costs may be set to zero specifically to avoid implying live pricing.
6. QUICK DIMENSIONS AND PLAN MODE
Quick Dimensions derives perimeter footage from user-entered dimensions. Plan Mode derives geometry from a built-in scaled grid.
Neither mode is a licensed survey, engineering drawing, fabrication drawing, or construction layout service. Users must verify field dimensions and construction geometry before building.
7. PROJECT FILES
The Estimator may allow you to save the complete editable project state as a RanchAssist .ra project file.
You are responsible for:
- Saving a .ra file if you want to continue work later.
- Keeping appropriate backup copies.
- Protecting files that contain sensitive project information.
- Opening .ra files only from sources you trust.
RanchAssist does not guarantee that every project file will remain compatible with every future version, although the product architecture is designed to validate files and support compatible migration when practical.
8. SESSION STORAGE AND DATA LOSS
The Estimator may use sessionStorage for active-session resilience. sessionStorage is not permanent saving.
RanchAssist is not responsible for loss of unsaved work caused by browser behavior, device failure, cleared browser data, network problems, user action, software defects, or other events.
Use Save Project and appropriate exports when you need to preserve work.
9. EXPORTS AND SHARING
The Estimator may provide CSV, PNG, Print/PDF, Copy Summary, and Email Estimate outputs.
You are responsible for reviewing exported information before sharing or relying on it and for protecting files or messages after they leave the Estimator.
10. EMAIL USE
When using Email Estimate, you are responsible for entering the correct recipient address and for having authority to send the project information to that recipient.
Do not use the email feature for spam, harassment, unlawful communications, or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
11. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not use the Estimator to:
- Violate applicable law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the application or hosting environment.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or credentials.
- Introduce malicious code.
- Circumvent usage, security, or access controls.
- Misrepresent RanchAssist estimates as certified professional plans or guaranteed bids.
- Use RanchAssist branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement of an independent product, service, contractor, or estimate.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Estimator, RanchAssist branding, user interface, source materials, documentation, and related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant ownership of RanchAssist intellectual property.
Your underlying project information remains yours or subject to the rights of its applicable owner. Saving or processing project information through the Estimator does not transfer ownership of that information to RanchAssist merely because the tool calculated or rendered it.
13. MODIFIED OR THIRD-PARTY DEPLOYMENTS
The RanchAssist source may be deployed or modified in different environments. An independently modified deployment may differ from the standard RanchAssist build, add integrations, change calculations, or use different data practices.
The operator of a modified deployment is responsible for its changes, representations, policies, and compliance obligations.
14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Estimator may rely on hosting, browser, email, or other third-party services. Those services may be subject to separate terms and policies.
The current source build uses a built-in planning grid and does not require Mapbox for Plan Mode.
15. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
RanchAssist may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, calculations, documentation, or availability of the Estimator.
There is no guarantee that a particular feature, deployment URL, integration, or file format will remain unchanged indefinitely.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE ESTIMATOR IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MATCH ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION RESULTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RANCHASSIST AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, CONSTRUCTION OVERRUNS, MATERIAL SHORTAGES, PROJECT DELAYS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LIVESTOCK LOSS, OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE ESTIMATOR.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. INDEMNITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Estimator, violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, or use of project outputs in a manner that falsely represents them as certified or guaranteed professional work.
19. GOVERNING REQUIREMENTS
These Terms are subject to applicable law. If a separate RanchAssist legal notice identifies a governing jurisdiction or dispute process for a particular operator or deployment, that notice may supplement these Terms.
20. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to the extent permitted by law.
21. NO WAIVER
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.
22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms may be updated when the product, business, deployment architecture, or legal requirements change. The effective date should be updated when revised Terms are published.
